I know I can’t stop with the holiday coffee recipes. First, it was pumpkin spice, then peppermint mocha, now eggnog?! The saddest part is that I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. I’m too addicted to the coffee grind. I couldn’t stop if I wanted to at this point. So I bring you: my healthy vegan eggnog latte!
Healthy Vegan Eggnog Latte
Real eggnog is not my friend. I don’t especially like the taste of it and my stomach definitely doesn’t feel happy after drinking it. So I’d been looking for a non-dairy eggnog latte recipe for a while.
This recipe is incredibly easy and you can even make it if you don’t have an espresso machine. However, I would highly recommend getting an espresso machine if you’re someone who enjoys a good latte & wants to save money in the long run. I’ve been using this espresso machine for months which is very inexpensive and works like a charm.
If you’re interested in whipping up Christmas drinks at home instead of overpaying for them at a coffee shop, you’ll love this! I’ve been making Christmas drinks 24/7 lately and probably will never stop… They’re just too dang good!
What You’ll Need for the Recipe:
- 2 shots espresso (I use this [inexpensive] espresso machine & Starbucks espresso)
- 1/2 cup oat milk (you can substitute with your milk preference)
- 1/2 cup Nutpods Holiday Nog (if you buy from their site, you can use code VITALITYVIXENS for 15% off)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- optional: (dairy-free) whipped cream
Directions (Iced Dairy-Free Eggnog Latte)
- Pull your double shot of espresso (if you don’t have an espresso machine, sub 1/2 cup of STRONG coffee). Pour the espresso shots into a glass with Nutpods Holiday Nog, oat milk, vanilla extract & ice. Stir to combine. Add in honey or sweetener of your choice if you like sweeter coffee/lattes.
- Optional: top with dairy-free whipped cream & cinnamon!
Directions (Hot Dairy-Free Eggnog Latte)
- Pull your double shot of espresso (if you don’t have an espresso machine, sub 1/2 cup of STRONG coffee). Steam (or heat on the stove/microwave until hot, but not boiling) Nutpods Holiday Nog, oat milk, and vanilla extract. Pour the espresso shots and heated up milk mixture into a mug. Stir to combine. Add in honey or sweetener of your choice if you like sweeter coffee/lattes.
- Optional: top with dairy-free whipped cream & cinnamon!
