I make overnight oats basically every night to have for breakfast the next day. They’re easy, convenient, and yummy! I normally make them with blueberries, peanut butter, and granola, but have been getting tired of it after eating it every day for weeks. I decided to switch it up and come up with a new recipe: Chocolate covered strawberry with Nutella). It is so delish and tastes like I’m having dessert for breakfast, which I’m never mad about!
Chocolate Strawberry Overnight Oats
Here’s the before shot…
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so I love having a surplus of different recipes. Overnight oats are so easy because you don’t even have to think about them in the morning! (I’m also very grumpy in the mornings, so the lazier I can be the better).
This recipe is great for anyone with a sweet tooth, who still wants to have a nutritious breakfast. It’s so easy and can be made in 5 minutes or less the night before. If you want to try some of my other breakfast recipes, check out this post (7 easy and healthy breakfast recipes).
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats (I used old-fashioned)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or your milk preference)
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used Orgain vegan)
- 5-6 frozen strawberries (or fresh if you have them)
Morning Toppings
- 1/4 cup granola
- chocolate chips (amount is your preference)
- 1 tbsp Nutella (or as much as you want)
Instructions
- Mix together the oats, almond milk, protein powder, and frozen strawberries in an air tight container
- Place in fridge overnight
- The next morning: remove oats from the fridge, mix with a spoon, and add on morning toppings. Plus whatever other toppings you like!
These were so tasty and I’m definitely going to be making them on repeat for the next few weeks! It’s always so much easier to prep your breakfast the night before if you can. Especially on work nights, I don’t really prep on weekends.
The protein powder I used is linked here: Orgain vegan vanilla protein. (code VITALITY = 30% off their whole site!)
Here’s the final product!
Enjoy! Pro tip: serve these overnight oats with a cup of delicious iced coffee, for a flavor explosion in your mouth.

[…] I love to top mine with a couple of different options. Sometimes I’ll do blueberries, maple almond butter, cinnamon, and granola. Other times I’ll switch it up with chocolate-covered strawberry oatmeal (recipe here). […]
