Hi friends! We’re SO excited to have released our new blog theme and hope you guys love it as much as we do. It took hours upon hours of work over the weekend, but let me tell you, it is so worth it.
Why the New Blog Theme?
To be completely honest, we had been having a lot of trouble with page speed with the old theme. (I know, boring, but that was one of the big reasons we knew it was time for an update!)
We didn’t want you guys coming to our site and having to sit twiddling your thumbs for 10 seconds while waiting for it to load. While it doesn’t seem like a huge amount of time, no one wants to wait that long for a site to load.
Besides the page load time issue, we just were ready for an update! We bought the previous theme when we first started Vitality Vixens earlier this year and had already outgrown it. We’ve been putting so much work into this website and thought that our theme should reflect that!
We are incredibly passionate about sharing the best content, recipes, and tips with you all. Any problems that we’d been running into, we wanted to fix to the best of our ability, so we can continue to do that.
We also just want to get to know you guys better and allow you into our lives more. So with the new theme, there is MUCH more room for getting to know each other and connecting.
Anytime you guys have any questions, ideas you’d like to see us write about, or conversations in general, please reach out to us! We love hearing from you and it’s one of the best parts about having this platform. 🙂
More Updates
Aside from the visual updates on the theme, we’re working on some other updates on the blog as well!
First of all, we’re going to try out a new (more consistent) posting schedule. From now on, we will release a new blog post every Monday, Thursday, and sometimes Saturdays. So you guys will know when to expect new content from us, on the same days every week. 🙂
We will also be sharing updates for all of our posts on Instagram, Pinterest, and through our email list. So be sure to follow us on those platforms and sign up for emails below, to be the first to see when new content drops!
On top of the more consistent blog posts, we’re also working on an online course! We’re not releasing the full details yet, you’ll have to wait and see. 😉 But I can tell you that it will be a combination health & fitness course, that we want to get your feedback on!
We would love to hear from you about what you’d like to see in the online course when it drops. What are the biggest questions you have about health, nutrition, and fitness? What struggles are you dealing with right now when it comes to your health?
We want to hear from you guys so we can make sure to incorporate all your questions into the upcoming course! We’re trying to cater it to your needs as much as possible, so any feedback is incredibly helpful to us.
You can give us your feedback in the comments, email us, or use the contact form here!
Anyone who reaches out with content they’d like to see in the course will be entered into a drawing to win free access to the entire course. 🙂
That’s All Folks!
Thank you so much for reading and continuing to come back to the blog. We are so grateful for all of you and excited to see what the future has in store! In the meantime, we will keep sharing helpful content as often as we can. 🙂
Comment below and let us know:
1. What do you think about the new theme? Love it/Hate it/Somewhere in between?
2. What would you like to see in our upcoming health & fitness course?
Talk to you guys soon! 💛

I love the new theme! It’s clean, fresh, and gorgeous.
I’m also so excited to see what the course brings!!! Your backgrounds are so diverse I would love to see something included about the respiratory system and tips to maintain good health as we approach flu season … and continue with COVID.

Thank you, Samantha! I love it too :)) That’s a great idea, thanks for sharing it! With mary being a respiratory therapist, I feel like she could definitely shed some light on that.
