Easy Fluffy Banana Proats Recipe!
I’m all about easy recipes when it comes to breakfast. Since it’s the first meal of the day, I want it to be healthy, to start off the day on the right foot! But I’m not about to spend 30 minutes to an hour cooking breakfast. Especially on workdays, there’s just no way!
So I try to come up with lots of healthy & easy breakfast recipes, to make my morning (and yours!) a breeze.

This easy proats recipe turns out so light and fluffy, with the perfect amount of sweetness! It also packs a punch of nutrition. Fiber from the oats, healthy fats and protein from the peanut butter, calcium from the almond milk, and vitamins from the blueberries.
Pair this baby with an iced honey vanilla latte (vegan) or my everyday iced coffee recipe (vegan/sugar-free)!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats
- 7/8 cup almond milk (I use a little under a cup, to make the oats less runny! Personal preference)
- 1 mashed banana
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 scoop Orgain vegan vanilla protein powder (use code VITALITY for 30% off!)
Toppings:
- 1-2 tbsp almond butter or natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup blueberries (I used frozen & defrosted them in the microwave – convenience!)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/8 cup cinnamon granola (if desired, adds a little crunch!)
Directions:
- Make your oatmeal as you normally would. I make mine on the stove with almond milk (a little less than what the recipe on the oats calls for). I normally put a little bit of salt in as the almond milk boils as well! Once the almond milk or water is boiling, add in your oats and cook for 5 minutes.
- After the oatmeal is fully cooked, set aside for a minute, and mash your banana. Sprinkle cinnamon onto the mashed banana and add to your oats. Add one scoop of Orgain vegan vanilla protein powder (or protein of your choice). Stir until thoroughly combined and no clumps remain.
- If using frozen blueberries, defrost for about a minute in the microwave. Add honey and cinnamon to the blueberries and put back in the microwave (on regular heat) until they get a little saucy. Stir up and pour onto your bowl of oats.
- Add a scoop of natural peanut butter and cinnamon granola, and any other toppings of your choosing! Voila! Fluffy, banana/blueberry proats!

I love that you didn’t use any added sugars in this. Banana is great addition, gives sweetness and extra nutrients. Also I love addition of proteins. Must give this a try.

Yeah the banana definitely sweetens it up, along with the vanilla protein! It honestly didn’t even need any extra sweetness. Thanks for checking it out! 🙂
