We have combined our minds to give you all what we believe to be an excellent fitness Christmas gift guide! These items are going to be a combination of what has helped Erin and I continue our fitness journey.
These items have significantly improved my status in and out of the gym. We all know Covid put a fire in our a** to get our lives together and try new things. If you give these items a chance, I do not think you will be disappointed with the results. Try something new in 2021 and encourage family and friends to do the same!!
Fitness Christmas Gift Guide 🎄
These gifts are sure to be crowd-pleasers for any of your fitness/health fanatic friends. We’re both big health & fitness nuts, so we’re speaking from experience that we would LOVE to receive any of these gifts. Hint, hint. 😉 JKJK. Let’s get right into it!
1. Blender Bottles
Now, this may seem like such a small item to have around, but dang are they useful. I use them for blending my protein shakes, Liquid I.V., pre-workout, and many others.
P.S. Get 25% off (& free shipping) on Liquid I.V.’s site by using code VITALITYVIXENS at checkout!
Who is to say that you can’t have fun with these bottles too!! Amazon has some fun snickered bottles for not very expensive. I have found myself loving my ‘Bae Goals’ blender bottle. I know I have gotten my friends Jen and Erin some for birthdays and Christmas as well!
2. Handheld Vibrating Massager
I’m not going to lie….it was really tough to create the title of this second item without describing a female pleasure toy…..HA. Moving on to this life saver of an item. Number 2 on the list is this wonderful muscle massager.
I have utilized this piece more times than a muscle roller and ice packs. This muscle massager is not as high powered as those well known muscle hammers. But to me it has done just the trick at keeping my muscles knot free and my spirits up. If you are in need of a muscle massager at a decent price for yourself, your kids, or your friends, take the leap of faith. You won’t be disappointed!!
3. Forearm/ Hand (grip) Strengtheners
Random alert: one of the most unheard-of gifts you could get someone. Not joking. These boys were suggested to me by someone who has forearm trouble.
I asked around for tips on how I can strengthen my forearms without spending a lot of money. Someone suggested using a rubber band and putting it between my fingers and trying to pull it apart. While I did more research online, I stumbled upon these babies.
They come in three levels of difficulty: green being the easiest and orange being the hardest. I reeeeally like the rings because I can be anywhere, able to squeeze them in my free time. Actually, in between these paragraphs, I am squeezing the blue one right now!
Seriously, if you need a random gift to get someone and they happen to play a lot of tennis, racquet ball, or pickle ball, this would be perfect for them!
4. Hot and cold Pack (with wrap)
I mean come on. Look at how this guy uses these wraps for his own improvement. There could have been no one else to that could present this wrap better, and I wholeheartedly believe that LOL.
Personally, I have not used my wraps for my neck. But maybe he gets cold specifically right there lol. Who knows. However, the first time I ordered these packs was for when I lifted too heavy with poor form. My back was HURTIN.
So I used my first one for a hot pack and it did well for months until the juice leaked out and had to throw it away. All good things must come to an end, right? I ordered another one for my knees which was v helpful after a long lifting session.
5. Jabra Bluetooth Earbuds
Typically, I only buy Bluetooth headphones nowadays because they don’t interfere with my physical activities. And by physical activities, I mean weight training, chores, and driving.
These babies have really helped make those activities possible. Throw away those headphones with cords because the Jabra headphones are coming in hot!!
Nothing is worse than getting tangled up in cords when trying to get things done. If you haven’t made the switch to Bluetooth headphones yet, this Christmas season is the perfect time. Add these to your Christmas shopping list!!
Erin here to take over the fitness Christmas gift guide! Let’s get started…
6. Liquid I.V.
Mary mentioned shaking up Liquid I.V. in her blender bottles above, and I would highly recommend it on it’s own for your fitness-enthusiast friends. It’s amazing for hydration and I use it myself, every time I work out or go outside and get sweaty.
They have tons of yummy flavors on their site including apple cinnamon (my fave!), strawberry (second fave), lemon, guava, and more. They also have energy powders, as well as sleep powders. There’s truly something for everyone there.
I would recommend this as a gift because Liquid I.V. is incredible for hydration, which is uber-important for those of us who work out often. The flavors also taste amazing so you really can’t go wrong (even with your picky friends!)
If you want to save some dolla dolla bills, use our code VITALITYVIXENS for 25% off (& free shipping) on Liquid I.V.’s site!
7. Bike Shorts or Leggings
If your friend is more into athleisure wear (this includes everyone, honestly, not just people who work out), you definitely need to hop on the bike shorts train. They’re so comfy, match with basically anything, and easy to throw on for a workout, a long walk, a run to the store, a chill day at home, or honestly any type of every day wear.
Some of my favorite bike shorts are these ones (with pockets!) from Aerie’s new Offline collection. I’m working on a full post on these babies that I’ll post soon, but they are some of the best (& inexpensive) bike shorts I’ve found.
If you (or whoever you’re buying for) is in between sizes, I would recommend sizing up in these! I’m between a Small & a Medium, normally, and the Medium fits me really well (still a tight fit with compression).
I live in Florida, so bike shorts are what I’ve been living in year-round. But if you live in somewhere a little colder, leggings are also always a great option!
Aerie Offline has incredible leggings as well, like these! You honestly can’t go wrong with this collection and your friend will love you for these gifts.
8. A Fanny Pack for Outdoor Workouts
Don’t sleep on fanny packs y’all. They may have been deemed nerdy at one point, but there is honestly no better way to carry your keys, phone, etc., when you go out on a run or outdoor workout. Name a better way, I’ll wait… 😉
As us ladies know, a lot of our leggings/bike shorts/other athletic apparel sadly does not have pockets. If you have magically found a way to buy ONLY bottoms with pockets and that’s all you own… 1. I’m amazed by you & 2. Please teach me your ways because I am far from that.
But, even if you are the magical human that I mentioned above, your friends most likely aren’t. And they need a way to (safely & conveniently) carry their keys, phone, and other items with them when participating in an outdoor workout.
This fanny pack is a great option for your outdoor workout loving friends (& comes in lots of cute colors). Trust me, you won’t regret investing in one of these for yourself too!
9. Protein Powder
Anyone who consistently works out would be happy to receive this as a gift. I’ve tried out so many different protein powders throughout the years and it is always still fun to try out a new flavor or brand!
A few of my tried & true go-to’s are Orgain vegan vanilla protein (great for your vegan/lactose-intolerant friends) or PEScience whey protein powder.
P.S. You can get 30% off of Orgain’s website by using our code VITALITY!
10. A BIG Insulated Water Bottle
I used to just bring the little 16 oz plastic water bottles with me when I went to run or workout. This was problematic for a couple of reasons: 1. Obviously not good for the environment & 2. I would finish the 16 oz within the first 20 minutes of my workout.
If your friend is an avid gym-goer, runner, fitness class connoisseur, or any other type of fitness fanatic – they’re drinking lots of water! Hydration is super important for any type of workout and for health in general. (Read our full article on the benefits of hydration here.)
But ain’t nobody got time for luke-warm water, am I right?! That’s why an insulated water bottle is a necessity for your friends (and probably for yourself too!)
They have a ton of great options as far as insulated water bottles go, but a lot of them can get up there in price. I love this option from Amazon because it’s a less expensive version and still high quality. It also comes in tons of cute colors (and sizes) so it’s completely customizable to your friend’s preferences.
We hope this fitness Christmas gift guide was helpful for y’all and your friends/fam love the presents!! Merry Christmas!! 🎄
