Honestly, when the Fleck and Butterfly collections came out recently, Mary & I both wanted the Butterfly. But sadly, it was sold out already when we got on the launch. These women are SPEED racers for Gymshark launches, I tell ya. But all is not lost, because we still got these lovely Adapt Fleck pieces. In this review, I’ll share if we’re happy with our purchases, or if we’re still having major regrets after not getting the butterfly. Let’s get into the full Gymshark Fleck review!
Gymshark Fleck Review
The Fleck collection is part of Gymshark’s Adapt line, which if y’all have read our previous reviews, you already know how I feel about it. But if this is your first time reading one of our reviews, I’ll clue you in. I absolutely love it. 😍
Adapt is by far my favorite of Gymshark’s lines (that I’ve tried so far.) We reviewed the Mercury collection recently that was supposed to be similar to the Adapt… But let’s just say it didn’t exactly live up to that statement. If you’re interested, read more on that here.
But we’ve also reviewed the camo & ombre from the Adapt line, and those did not disappoint. *Probably because they were actually from the Adapt collection and not just “similar” to it*
That being said, I had high hopes for this Adapt Fleck line. So let’s get into it, starting off with the most important piece: the leggings.

Gymshark Fleck Leggings
are they stretchy?
Oh my gosh, yes. They’re so stretchy and comfortable, especially in the thighs and calves. I mentioned this in the video, but a lot of leggings are too tight in those areas for me. I have thicker thighs and legs compared to my waist, so I often find that leggings are too tight in the legs and too loose in the waist. So when I find a pair that fits just right, you know I’m going to keep buying them.
The Adapt collection has been that *just right* fit for me. It hugs in at the waist and has a thick waistband, so it’s nice and snug. But it’s stretchy enough so you can still wear it and feel comfy on more bloated days.
But it’s not too stretchy to where I feel like it’s going to wear out fast or start fitting wrong/falling down. It’s just right.
are they high-waisted?
YES. As I mentioned in the video I love a good high-waisted legging. The higher the better in my opinion. If it can pull up past my boobs and to my armpits, I’m happy. Jk, but only kind of.
These hit right above my belly button, which in my opinion, is the perfect high-waistedness. *I keep saying “high-waistedness” and that’s definitely not a word. But I can’t think of anything better so we’re going to stick with it.*
Mary’s mentioned that she likes leggings to hit a little lower, like right below her belly button. So you can always roll them down a half-inch or so if that’s where you like your leggings to hit.
are they squat proof?
Yes! I tried on the burgundy color and they were 100% squat proof. The material is fairly thick in these bad boys, so you shouldn’t have anything to worry about in that department. (Unless you get a light color, then I can’t speak on that.)
I’ve worn them to the gym on leg day and they passed the test here as well. 10/10.
Okay, if this review sounds sponsored, I promise it’s not. We get absolutely nothing from Gymshark for writing these reviews, this collection is just that good. And we don’t want you to waste your money on just okay pieces, so we’ll always be here to share our honest thoughts.
That being said, let’s get into the sports bra!
Gymshark Fleck Sports Bra
I was a little worried about the sports bra because I’d bought one of these exact styles before (in a different color and not Fleck, obviously.) When I bought it previously, I was buying small sports bras from Gymshark. After a few of those fitting too tight in the shoulder/back area, I decided to start buying mediums instead. And thank God I did, because this one fit 100x better.
If you’re a size small and looking for Gymshark sports bras, I have a couple that I’d previously bought listed on my Poshmark. They’re in great condition (because I hardly ever wore them since they didn’t really fit…)
But overall, I absolutely love the Fleck sports bra. It’s double-layered, so it keeps everything held in really well and isn’t see-through at all. *That can’t be said about the recent Whitney collection…*
It’s a medium support sports bra, which is all I need. Mary said it was really supportive for her as well, for running, playing pickleball, and hitting the gym.
It’s also just freaking cute! The Fleck design is very subtle, but I thought the burgundy color was absolutely gorgeous. It’s also so subtle that it basically matches with anything, which is a huge plus as well.
True to Size?
The leggings were 100% true to size. Mary and I both bought a medium and they fit perfectly on both of us. If you want to see the try-on and fit on different body types and heights, you can watch the video.
I mentioned before that I’m in between sizes in sports bras. If you’re in between sizes like me, I’d definitely size up. This is a pretty tight-fitting sports bra, especially in the back/armpit area.
If you are only one size in Gymshark pieces, stick with your size! This fits pretty similar to most Gymshark sports bras I’ve ever bought. I just tend to find them a little tighter than other brands, so sizing up was the right move for me.
Would I Buy It Again?
Absolutely. Like I said, Adapt is one of my recurring favorites from Gymshark and it has never once let me down. And the detailing and color in this collection is just phenomenal.
This was the first time I’d bought leggings from the Adapt line (I usually buy the shorts since I live in FL) and they did not disappoint.
I’ll be wearing these pieces nonstop and even considering buying more. *I probably won’t end up buying more though because Gymshark has a new launch literally every other week. So I need to save the money to keep doing these reviews!*
If you have any questions at all that I didn’t cover, drop them in the comments. I’d be happy to answer them!
