Ever since Mary gave me her extra Senita Ava crop top (she accidentally bought two) – I’ve been in love. This crop top might be my favorite crop I’ve ever put on my body. I’ll get more into why below… Also, I HAD to buy more from this brand, just based on my obsession with this one top. So I’ll also be covering the twisted cropped long sleeve (with a few more pieces to review, coming soon.) Let’s get right into this Senita review!
Honest Senita Review
We also recorded a video version of our Senita review, where we tried on these pieces and talked more about sizing/fit. If you want to see that version, check it out below.

Ava Crop Top
Like I said before, the Ava crop top is what made me fall in love with this brand. It’s so comfortable, form-fitted, and versatile. When I say versatile, I mean I’ve worn this for long outdoor runs in the heat, tough strength workouts, and even out to bars and restaurants.
It’s so cute that it can easily be worn out and about in place of a regular crop top. I’ll just pop a jean jacket or a cardigan over the top and you’d never know it’s activewear. 😉
For workouts, it’s very supportive and holds you in place. My boobs are on the small side so it doesn’t take much for me! But Mary can vouch for this too – it’s super supportive, even with only spaghetti straps.
They come with pads as well, which is a nice option to have. I like to wear them with or without, it’s comfy and full coverage either way. I think it looks great with the pads in, but honestly, I always forget to put them back in after I wash these tops. So 9 times out of 10, I go padless.
This top comes in tons of cute colors as well. I have the yellow, navy, and a maroon color. I love them all!
It has a cute cross-strap design in the back and is simple in the front. There’s not too much branding going on and it just has a subtle Senita logo in the lower corner.
Overall, I’d give this top a 10/10. I have nothing bad to say about it and am still as obsessed as ever. I’ve worn the maroon color quite a few times and it’s held up well so far.
Mary mentioned in the video that one of hers that she’s been wearing for years has started to stretch out a bit. I haven’t noticed that yet personally, but I’d imagine that’s normal after a long period of use.
I’ll get more into the fit in the Sizing section below!
Twisted Cropped Long Sleeve
I’m not exaggerating when I say this long sleeve top is SO FREAKING COMFY. I’m a big believer in comfort over fashion. If it’s not comfy, there’s a 99% chance you’ll never see me in it.
This top is incredibly soft and doesn’t feel like your typical workout top. I’ve been wearing this nonstop around the house and on walks because I never want to take it off.
When I recorded the video I hadn’t even worn this to work out yet (it was always dirty, since I was wearing it nonstop around the house 😂)
I’ve worn it a couple of times to work out now and it holds up well. It’s fairly warm so it’s nice to wear for outdoor runs on 50-60 degree days. It’s a fairly thick material, so it’s not see-through either (that I’ve noticed, but I mostly wear light-colored sports bras underneath.)
The color is a beautiful light sky blue that I’m in love with.
I’d give this top overall an 8/10. My only complaint is that it gets really wrinkly easily. I’m sure I could iron it or steam it to fix this issue, but TBH it’s a workout top and I don’t have time for that.
The twist at the bottom is cute, but a little funky looking when it’s all wrinkly.
Other than that, this top is honestly perfect.
Sizing
The sizing of these tops is where it gets interesting.
I’m typically a Small or Medium in workout tops, so I bought a Medium in the Ava crop top and a Small in the long sleeve.
The Medium crop top fits perfectly since it’s so form-fitted. I definitely wouldn’t want to size down to a small because I think it’d be too tight and uncomfy. If you’re in between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up in this. But if you’re always one size, stick with your size.
With the long sleeve top, I bought a small because it looked like a looser-fitting shirt. I’m really glad I made that decision because even the Small felt a little loose.
I like the fit, personally, because I prefer my shirts a little looser. Especially with soft casual shirts, I just want to be comfy and not feel constricted at all.
Looking back, I think I could’ve gone with an XS in this top because it wasn’t really cropped length. You can see the fit in the video or the picture above. But just looking at it from an outside perspective, I wouldn’t know it’s supposed to be a crop top.
If you’re in between sizes, I’d say size down in this long sleeve top.
Senita vs. Other Brands
Compared to other brands like Gymshark, Balance, etc., Senita is much more affordable. All the tops were under $30, which is great for high-quality activewear.
Quality-wise, I haven’t seen any major difference between Senita and the higher-priced brands. It’s nice to know you can get the same quality for a lower price tag.
I haven’t tried any of their leggings or shorts yet, so I can’t speak on those. But Mary is planning on doing a Senita review of their leggings soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
Senita Review: Final Thoughts
I’ve loved all the tops I’ve bought from Senita so far. They’re a great value and quality for the price and I definitely plan on buying more pieces from this brand.
I’ll keep you posted as time goes on and I wear these tops for more workouts. If I start to see any wear & tear or any of my opinions change, I’ll be sure to let you know.
