I’ve been seeing these sports bras all over the place and thought they were so cute. But you never know what clothing items you can trust when you see them online… Will it be worth the hype? Or will it disappoint when you actually order it and try it on? In this honest Gymshark Bandeau Sports Bra review, I’ll be hitting all the necessary questions…
- Sizing (size up/down or true to size?)
- Support
- How it works in the gym
- Appearance
- Comfort level
- Is it worth the price?
Let’s get right into it!
Gymshark Sports Bras
I’ve had a hard time finding sports bras that I really love from Gymshark, if I’m being honest. Their shorts and leggings are *almost* always winners, but most of the sports bras I’ve bought have been uncomfortable, or hard to find the right size.
I’m always between a small and a medium in sports bras. But with Gymshark, it seems to vary quite a bit, depending on the compression level.
Some of the smalls (or even the mediums) I’ve bought have felt way too tight, and I’ve ended up returning them. With a lot of other brands, the smalls fit just right and mediums are too loose.
I don’t mind sizing up at all, I just wish there was more of a standard for how the sports bras would fit, so I’d know what size to buy. But that might be setting an unrealistic standard, I suppose.
That being said, I ordered the bandeau sports bra in a small, crossed my fingers, and hoped for the best…

How Does the Bandeau Sports Bra Compete?
When I tried the bandeau sports bra on, I was pleasantly surprised off the bat. The material is incredibly comfortable, just stretchy enough (while still holding everything in), and very flattering on the body.
The small didn’t feel too tight at all, so I’d definitely recommend getting your size (or sizing down if you’re in between sizes.)
This is a low support sports bra, so keep that in mind when ordering. Personally, I love a low support bra because I have small boobs and don’t need a lot of support. But if you’re in the market for a medium or high support bra, this one won’t be a good option.
It comes in 4 gorgeous colors, including court blue, dragon pink, black, and white. Based on how much I love this one, I might end up buying one in every color!
TBH, I feel like this might be the only sports bra I buy from Gymshark in the future. It’s comfortable, flattering, cute, and looks great with any shorts or leggings. It’s also versatile enough that you could wear it as a normal crop top/bralette, since it has the bandeau style.
I’ve worn this to the gym quite a few times and it’s definitely supportive enough. It has enough compression for me. It doesn’t move around or cause any issues during the workout. It just stays in place the whole time.
Overall, I’d give the bandeau sports bra a 10/10. I honestly have no bad things to say about it, which is the first time I’ve felt that way about a Gymshark sports bra. PROPS to Gymshark for this one, because they really hit it out of the park.
Was the Bandeau Sports Bra worth keeping?
If you don’t already know the answer to this question, after reading my raving review… 100% yes. I’m planning to buy one in every color and never have to worry about buying a sports bra again. That’s how much I love it.
What does it cost?
The bandeau sports bra is $34. Gymshark sports bras typically range from $30-$45, so this is a reasonable price. I like this one better than any of the $45 bras I’ve bought from them.
Summary of the facts:
- Texture – Grade A. Very soft, comfortable, and flattering.
- Color/Design – Matches the website features. 4 color options are available (now).
- Thickness – I’d give it a 5/10 on the thickness scale. It covers up what needs to be covered (at least in the black color) and has removable pads.
- Elasticity – Fairly stretchy, but still holds everything in well.
- Sizing – Mostly true to size, but due to the lighter compression, I’d size down if you’re in between sizes.
- Cost value – This bandeau sports bra is well worth the price, IMO. Compared to other Gymshark sports bras, it’s on the lower side at $34. I’m going to be wearing this weekly and get a ton of use out of it, so it’s well worth it for me.
Anywho, that’s all I have for this sports bra! I shared a bit more info in the video so check that out if you’re still not sure.
Of course, these are all just my opinions and the size/fit is based on my height/weight and body type. You can see both Mary’s & my sizing/measurements here, to get a better idea of how it’ll actually fit. (To help you find the right size ONLY, not for comparison.)
If you bought the bandeau sports bra and have different opinions than what I shared here (or if you agree with mine) be sure to leave a comment! I’m only one person and can just share my personal thoughts, so I’d love to see other people’s opinions on it too.
Stay tuned for more athleticwear reviews from us in the future! Ta ta, for now.
