If you’ve been around for a while, you know Mary & I are obsessed with Paragon Fitwear. We’ve done a few reviews of their clothes before and are always so impressed with the quality and comfort level. That being said, no activewear pieces are ever 100% perfect. I’ll be sharing the good and the bad of these pieces in this honest Paragon Review…
Paragon Review
In the past few months, Paragon has been on a roll with launching new clothes! I’m blown away by the quality of these pieces, the incredibly soft fabric, and the gorgeous color schemes.
While these pieces are all incredible quality (as always with my experience with Paragon), there are a few issues with some of the pieces that I’ll be diving into as well. This includes the sizing, fit, and how some of them hold up workouts.
In this review, I’ll be diving deeper into the following lines from Paragon Fitwear:
- Airsilk
- Reluna (aka “Naked”)
- RecStretch
- UltraLux
Paragon has a breakdown of the differences between fabrics on their website.
The different launches I’ll be covering are:
- Daydream
- Wavelength (Paragon x DesB)
- Form
None of my photos below have been edited/filtered, so you can see what the different colors look like in natural light! 🙂
Paragon was so kind to send me over these pieces from their newest launches to try out. Thank you so much, Paragon! While these pieces were gifted to me, this review itself is not sponsored, and all the thoughts shared here are my 100% honest opinions.
WAVELENGTH (Paragon x DesB)
Groove
RecStretch DesB Everywhere Bralette Groove (M)
This sports bra is super cute! I’ll go into a lot more detail on the sizing in the next section (the Groove and Aries sports bras are the same in different colors), but I’d recommend sizing up if you’re in between sizes.
RecStretch DesB Original Sculptseam Plus Legging Groove (M)
These leggings are so cute and flattering! I love the color and design. They’re fully squat-proof and buttery soft. They have a bit of a scrunch bum, which I don’t love personally, but if you’re looking for leggings with scrunch bum they’re a great option.
Aries
RecStretch DesB Original Sculptseam Plus Legging Aries (M)
These leggings are so buttery soft, fairly thin, and squat proof. They have a scrunch bum and it’s a bit too tight for my personal preference. I typically prefer leggings without a scrunch bum, unless it’s really minimal (like some of the other leggings in this review). So if it’s too tight, I feel like I’m going to bust the leggings open when I do a squat. It’s never happened, but the fear is there.
Other than that, the color is beautiful. They’re true to size and I love how they fit everywhere besides the bum, which feels a bit too tight for me.
RecStretch DesB Everywhere Bralette Aries (S)
This bra is so cute! The back style is different and fun. It’s a small amount of coverage in front so I’d say it’s best for smaller boobs. It’s still very supportive.
I ordered this bra (Aries/blue) in a Small and the first color (Groove/gray) in a Medium since I’m in between sizes with Paragon tops. The medium fit me better and the small felt a bit like it was cutting off my back circulation. Or at least my skin/back fat was popping out all over the place. I’d recommend sizing up if you’re in between sizes.
Creamsicle
RecStretch DesB Infinite Long Sleeve Bra Creamsicle (L)
I got this top for Mary, but after trying it on, I fully regret not getting one of the long-sleeved tops! It’s way cuter than I expected on, and the fit is incredible. This is a size too big for me and honestly fit fairly well, besides being too loose in the arms, so I’d say size up if you’re in between sizes.
The color and pattern are so fun and bright, I love the orange! Not the most flattering color on me personally, but it’s going to look amazing on Mary!
RecStretch DesB Original Sculptseam Plus Legging Creamsicle (M)
These leggings are unfortunately the only ones out of this entire review that are not squat-proof. The color shows through fairly easily, so take that into account if you are planning on getting these ones.
Other than that, they’re very cute, form-fitted, soft, and flattering like every other pair from Paragon.
FORM
Strawberry Quartz
UltraLux Curve Contour Sculptseam™ Legging Strawberry Quartz (M)
Like I’ve said with all the leggings, these are comfy, thin, and super soft. Squat proof = check. Good to go, really cute!
The color looks a bit different than what it looks like online. It’s more of a subtle deep pinkish red, but I love the color in person.
RecStretch Essential Brami Strawberry Quartz (S)
I love this bra top! I am always looking for workout tops to wear with a built-in bra and this does not disappoint. It fits great for a small – it’s a bit looser so if you’re in between sizes you could size down.
It’s a very soft and thin material. My only complaint is that the bra pads were all crumpled up when I got it, so I ended up removing them, and it’s a bit thin material up top. That’s pretty common with the built-in pads and I almost always end up removing them anyway, though, so I’m not too worried about it.
Monolith
RecStretch Original Sculptseam Plus™ Legging v2 (M)
*I can’t find the Monolith (teal) color in either the leggings or the bra on Paragon’s website anymore. 🙁 But they have a ton of other gorgeous colors in the leggings and the bra comes in the strawberry quartz color shown above!
These leggings are buttery soft, and comfortable, with just enough stretch. The color is absolutely beautiful. As usual with Paragon leggings, they’re fully squat-proof.
The style of this sports bra is super cute and different from what I normally go for! The ruched front is very flattering on. Overall, it’s comfy and stretchy but well-fitted.
Black
RecStretch Original Sculptseam Plus™ Short v2 Black (M)
The shorts are ultra comfy and soft with a great form-fitted curve-hugging shape. They’re a bit too short for my personal preference. (I always find this length of shorts rides up when working out, on my body type.) But if you like a 5″ inseam short and are in the market for one, these are an amazing option!
UltraLux Curve Contour Sculptseam™ Legging Black (M)
These leggings are PERFECT. They’re a great length, perfect medium-thick material, good compression while still being stretchy, and SO soft. They fit great as well!
These are very similar to an old pair of black Paragon leggings I have, but with a mild scrunch bum added. I’m not normally a fan of Scrunch Bum because it’s uncomfortable, but it’s minimal enough in these to still be comfy while adding a little extra oomph!
DAYDREAM
Mistique
AirSilk Original Sculptseam™ Legging Mistique (M)
These leggings are silky smooth, buttery soft, squat-proof, and fit perfectly. They hug all the right places with just enough stretch. Love these! The color is gorgeous as well!
AirSilk Bliss Bralette Mistique (S)
I’m in between a small and medium for Paragon tops, and this was pretty roomy for a small! It fits well and is really comfy, so if you’re in between sizes, you can size down.
It’s pretty low cut and doesn’t have a ton of coverage so I’d say it’s best for smaller boobs. It’s super soft and comfy!
Moonlight
Reluna Original Sculptseam Legging Moonlight (M)
These leggings are incredibly comfortable. They’re even stretchier than most of the others in this review and have a thin soft material. There’s no scrunch bum which makes the leggings comfier in my opinion. Perfect for workouts or to lounge around in. Squat proof = check!
Reluna Ritual Bra Moonlight (M)
This sports bra is very comfy, flattering, and supportive (even with the pads removed.) The back is really cute and it fits perfectly overall. It’s a medium and I’m normally between a small and medium, so I’d say size up in this one if you’re in between sizes.
AirSilk Transcend Bra Moonlight (M)
Very cute, comfortable bra with more coverage than some of the others. This has a good amount of support and coverage, while still being comfy and buttery soft.
AirSilk Crossover Sculptseam™ Legging Moonlight (M)
This is the same color as the Reluna leggings, but AirSilk fabric instead of Reluna. I noticed these were a little bigger and felt stretchier. The leggings are really cute and soft, and I love the crossover style!
Paragon Review: In Conclusion
Overall, you can’t go wrong with Paragon Fitwear if you’re looking for buttery soft, comfortable, and squat-proof leggings. The same goes for the tops. The materials are always elevated and you feel like a bad bitch in the gym wearing these pieces.
The colors are incredible and they have an insane amount of options when it comes to colors and fabrics.
