We started Vitality Vixens to create a space where women & girls feel empowered to live a healthy lifestyle on their own terms.
While inspiring & teaching the following:
- All health & fitness goals are great, as long as you’re doing them for you (& they’re bringing you joy.) Love yourself, love your body, and do whatever the heck makes you happy
- There’s no “one size fits all” approach to wellness. Find what works for you and f*** what everyone else is doing (even us 🤣)
About Erin
Hi everyone! I’m Erin (left), a 26-year-old lover of food, fitness, travel, and intuitive eating. I moved from Springfield IL to Tampa FL, and have been blogging ever since. My Bachelor’s is in Dietetics, and I’m obsessed with learning more about nutrition & food’s impact on the body.
I take a non-diet approach to food & health, so I talk a lot about food freedom, listening to your body, and loving yourself by treating your mind/body/soul right. I’m passionate about combining physical health with mental & emotional health (because you can’t have one without the other).
I’m a big coffee & wine addict and you’ll rarely see me without one or the other (or both hehe). 99% of the time (when I’m not blogging), you’ll see me traveling, doing something outdoorsy, reading, cooking, or working out. I hope we can use this platform to share some inspiration, fun recipes & workouts, advice, and lots of goofy stories!
About Mary
Hey there! My name is Mary (right) and I am the co-author for Vitality Vixens. I live in Nashville TN and am a Respiratory Therapist (currently doing travel RT in Orlando). My schedule’s wacky because I work the night shift, but surprisingly enough, I love it!
I’m also a fitness lover. I’ve been consistently working out for years now. I dabble with the thought of doing bodybuilding, but honestly, not sure if I’m ballsy enough for such a commitment.
So, to no surprise after reading that last statement, you’ll be seeing a lot of my fitness journey, such as what has gone well, my failures (which is my favorite category because a lot of shit happens to me that is unreal), and helpful tips and tricks.
I’ll leave the recipes up to Erin because my food is makeshift. I’m just learning how to spice up my life with different food combos/meals. I also love being outside and playing any sports (especially pickleball and soccer). Yeah, I know… What’s pickleball…? I’ll def have to explain that another day for ya. However, you will earn brownie points with me if you already know what it is.
