For me, I immediately think of cough medicine. Yeah, not the most appealing flavor. But these wild cherry Sour Strips actually blew my mind&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They tasted NOTHING like medicine and were jam packed with yummy cherry flavor. Honestly, this is the best cherry flavored candy I&#8217;ve ever had. It&#8217;s the perfect amount of sour\/sweet, with a bangin&#8217; cherry flavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, this was one of my top 3 flavors, and that&#8217;s really saying something. Eating regular apples, apple candy, apple-flavored items, I just don&#8217;t care for any of them. So I&#8217;m a little biased by my taste preferences in this review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I thought these were very ~okay~ and probably wouldn&#8217;t buy them again. I still ate the whole bag *obviously* but they wouldn&#8217;t ever be my first choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mary, on the other hand, is a huge green apple fan and absolutely loved these ones. So, to each their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They were &#8220;sour-ish&#8221; on the sour scale for me and I actually really liked the level of sourness. I don&#8217;t like overly sour candies and I don&#8217;t like overly sweet candies&#8230; So if you can meet me in the middle, I&#8217;m a fan!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, these ones were pretty good, just not <em>my<\/em> favorite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rating:<\/strong> 6.5\/10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>P.S. When I tell you I&#8217;ve never tasted a more sour mango flavor, I&#8217;m not messing around. These boys are SOUUURRRRR. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m a big mango gal and eat dried mango all the time. The flavor is just perfection when it comes to fruits. However&#8230; These were just <em>too dang sour<\/em> for ya girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t even finish the bag. I had to pass them off to my fiance (who is a bigger fan of super sour things than I am.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you enjoy watching people ~die of sourness~ you&#8217;ll enjoy watching my hideous facial reactions in the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/w7oFCGuFVMc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">video review<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mango Sour Strips definitely crushed it with the tropical flavor vibes. The mango flavor was on point. These are INSANE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mary &amp; I were both at a loss for words after trying this flavor. Neither of us are huge pink lemonade lovers to begin with, so that played a factor. But also, the sourness&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mary was crying, if that tells you anything. They are painfully sour. If you&#8217;re in this for the mouth-puckering sour candy, please, my friend, buy the pink lemonade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you&#8217;re in this for candy that won&#8217;t make you cry&#8230; I&#8217;d skip this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rating:<\/strong> 6\/10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rainbow<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The perfect combination of flavors!! I&#8217;m a huge rainbow fan. These looked just like the Airheads Extremes candies but were 10x better. I couldn&#8217;t stop eating them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m honestly not sure which flavors they&#8217;re a blend of, or if it&#8217;s just one flavor on its own&#8230; But whatever it is, it worked! They were in my top 3 flavors for sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I found myself grabbing for these constantly and the bag went by really fast. Blue raspberry is already the best flavor, IYKYK, and these don&#8217;t disappoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I can&#8217;t even begin to describe how flavorful and tasty these were. They have just a hint of sourness with the perfect blend of sweetness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only thing I knocked off a 0.5 for is that they turn your tongue blue. \ud83e\udd23 But if you don&#8217;t mind a blue tongue, they&#8217;re a 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rating:<\/strong> 9.5\/10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strawberry<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I don&#8217;t typically love strawberry flavored candy, but these surprised me. These ended up being up there with some of my favorites and I finished the bag in a day or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comparably, they tasted like red Sour Punch Straws. They weren&#8217;t too sour or too sweet, which is what I&#8217;m looking for (as you can tell by now.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rating:<\/strong> 8\/10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sour Strips Review: Final Thoughts&#8230;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, our favorites ended up being the blue raspberry &amp; rainbow (Erin), apple (Mary) and wild cherry (both of us.) Our least favorites were the pink lemonade and mango (TOO SOUR.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each of the flavors had a good level of sourness, so they didn&#8217;t disappoint in that category. A few of them were too sour for both of us. So, if your question is if these are actually <em>that<\/em> sour &#8211; yes, yes they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would recommend trying out the variety pack if you&#8217;re new to Sour Strips. I love that we got to try every single flavor and figure out which ones worked for each of us. As you can tell, Mary &amp; I had differing opinions on a few flavors&#8230; So it&#8217;s not a one-size-fits-all review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Try them out for yourself and let us know what you think in the comments!
