In this Poppi review, we&#8217;ll be sharing our brutally honest opinions on all the Poppi flavors, ranking them from <strong>worst <\/strong><em>(never buy again)<\/em> to <strong>best <\/strong><em>(absolutely obsessed, in love, head over heels)<\/em>. Of course, our opinions on the flavors may differ from yours, so I&#8217;d recommend trying out the flavors yourself! You can get a variety pack with a bunch of different flavors on Amazon, which is a great way to test them out and see what you like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3XzqGvf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Classic Sodas variety pack<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/41NJTff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fruity variety pack<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let&#8217;s get into the questions on if Poppi is healthy&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"poppi-healthy\">Is the drink Poppi good for you?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Poppi is advertised as a healthier alternative to traditional soda. If you look at the Nutrition Facts and ingredients list, you&#8217;ll see why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking at the Poppi Nutrition Facts for the classic cola, it has 25 calories and 5 grams of sugar. Compare this to a can of classic Coke which contains 140 calories and 39 grams of sugar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, you could look at a Poppi compared to a diet soda and think, this doesn&#8217;t seem much healthier. If you look at the nutrition facts on a diet Coke, you&#8217;ll see 0 calories and 0 grams of sugar. So from a strictly numbers perspective, the Poppi doesn&#8217;t seem any better, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, you&#8217;ll want to look a little closer at the ingredients to really determine this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sweetener:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As opposed to traditional diet soda that are artificially sweetened, Poppi is sweetened with organic cane sugar and Stevia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prebiotics:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Poppi&#8217;s main claim to nutritional fame is that it&#8217;s a <strong>prebiotic <\/strong>soda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;ve heard of <strong>probiotic <\/strong>foods (food that contain healthy bacteria, such as yogurt, kombucha, and fermented foods), this will help you understand what <strong>prebiotics <\/strong>are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prebiotics are basically food for these healthy gut bacteria. So to have a healthy gut\/microbiome, you&#8217;d ideally want to have both prebiotics and probiotics in your diet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Poppi also contains <strong>apple cider vinegar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, Poppi does seem to be a healthier alternative to traditional soda. But as always, it&#8217;s better to get prebiotics (and probiotics, and any other vitamins\/minerals, for that matter) from a well balanced diet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So while Poppi is a great option if you&#8217;re looking to cut back on soda, or just want a sweet treat in your day, you should absolutely still be eating a well rounded diet including fruits, vegetables, etc., for real nutritional benefits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"poppi-olipop\">Is Olipop or Poppi healthier?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olipop is another popular prebiotic soda on the market, which seems to be one of Poppi&#8217;s main competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s also a lower calorie\/sugar option (when compared to traditional soda), with 35-50 calories and 2-5 grams of added sugar per can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The calorie and sugar content are pretty similar to Poppi&#8217;s numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The big different in the Nutrition Facts between Olipop and Poppi is the fiber content. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olipop contains up to 9 grams of fiber per can, while Poppi contains 2-3 grams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olipop&#8217;s ingredients contain a blend of botanicals, plant fibers, and prebiotics. Poppi&#8217;s ingredients contain apple cider vinegar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Related:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/vitality-vixens.com\/index.php\/2021\/06\/14\/honest-olipop-review\/\">Olipop review<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, whether Olipop or Poppi is healthier depends on your specific dietary needs and health goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personally, I think they&#8217;re both great options to drink in moderation when you want a sweet, fizzy drink, but don&#8217;t want a traditional high-sugar soda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"poppi-flavors\">Best Poppi Flavor, Ranked<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now that we&#8217;ve gotten the nutrition talk out of the way, let&#8217;s talk flavors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this section, I&#8217;ll be ranking Poppi flavors in order from <strong>worst <\/strong>to <strong>best<\/strong>. I was expecting this to taste like Sprite, but it is <em>wayyy<\/em> more limey than Sprite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The more sips I take, I start to taste the lemon flavor more and it is not bad, but the lime flavor is overwhelming for my preference. And I generally really like lime juice\/flavor on food, but this is too much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I wouldn&#8217;t buy this one again but it&#8217;s not terrible&#8230; I&#8217;ll still finish the can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Erin&#8217;s Rating:<\/strong> 4\/10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cassi&#8217;s Review:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This one feels like the pinnacle of a soda alternative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It tastes a lot like sprite has a stronger lemon flavor. It has a really strong cherry flavor, which is tasty, but I wanted more of the cola flavor. It was slightly too sweet for my preference as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, it&#8217;s tasty and I would buy it again if I was craving a cherry soda. I will say, the orange flavor lingers a little too long. I was drinking this orange Poppi along with my lunch (spaghetti) and noticed that after I took a sip of the Poppi, then ate a bite of spaghetti, the spaghetti kind of tasted&#8230;<em>orange<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It could just be because the orange flavor is so prominent it lingers on your tongue. I&#8217;ve tried the orange flavored Poppi in the past (before having the idea to do a Poppi review) and enjoyed it. So I was hoping this would be flavor-wise somewhere in between the regular orange Poppi and the cream soda Olipop (which I love).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Related:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/vitality-vixens.com\/index.php\/2021\/06\/14\/honest-olipop-review\/\">Olipop Review<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After trying the orange cream Poppi, it absolutely lives up to my expectations. It&#8217;s delicious!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It has a subtle cream soda flavor with orange intertwined into it. In my opinion, it really is a 50\/50 orange to cream soda ratio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This flavor reminds me more of the strawberry vanilla Olipop, but orange version. Which if you know how much I love the strawberry vanilla Olipop, you&#8217;ll know that&#8217;s a huge compliment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I chugged this can way too fast because I just couldn&#8217;t put it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Overall, the orange cream Poppi is absolutely delicious. No notes.
