Toppings
1-2tbspnatural peanut butteror any other nut butter
1/2cupblueberriesI used frozen & defrosted them in the microwave - convenience!
1/4tspcinnamon1 tbsp honey
1/8cupcinnamon granolaif desired, adds a little crunch!
Instructions
Make your oatmeal as you normally would. I make mine on the stove with almond milk (a little less than what the recipe on the oats calls for). I normally put a little bit of salt in as the almond milk boils as well!
Once the almond milk or water is boiling, add in your oats and cook for 5 minutes. After the oatmeal is fully cooked, set aside for a minute, and mash your banana.
Sprinkle cinnamon onto the mashed banana and add to your oats. Add one scoop of Orgain vegan vanilla protein powder (or protein of your choice). Stir until thoroughly combined and no clumps remain.
If using frozen blueberries, defrost for about a minute in the microwave. Add honey and cinnamon to the blueberries and put back in the microwave (on regular heat) until they get a little saucy. Stir up and pour onto your bowl of oats.
Add a scoop of natural peanut butter and cinnamon granola, and any other toppings of your choosing! Voila! Fluffy, banana/blueberry proats!
