1/4tspvanilla extract
1/4tsphazelnut extract
1tspcocoa powder
1tbspdairy-free chocolate chips
1-2tbsphoney2 tbsp if you like your coffee sweeter
optional: 1 tbsp Nutelladon't add if you want a fully dairy-free/healthier version
optional:dairy-free whipped cream
Instructions
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, cocoa powder, 2 tbsp oat milk, hazelnut & vanilla extract, and honey. Stir occasionally and keep it on the heat until everything melts together into a saucy consistency. If you need to, bump the heat up 1 or 2 notches.
Add your oat milk & Nutpods to the saucepan with your chocolate sauce mixture & bump the heat up to medium-low. Keep it on the stove until hot, but not boiling, then remove from heat.
Pull your double shot of espresso. If you don’t have an espresso machine, you can use 1/2 a cup of STRONG coffee instead.
Pour your espresso (or coffee) into a mug. Pour the steamed oat milk/Nutpods/chocolate sauce mixture on top and stir until well combined. Optional: top with dairy-free whipped cream!
